As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol - Weekdays in Danville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Mon11:30 AM - 06:30 PM

Fri11:30 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the location.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific procedures.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Experience in customer service is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
