CNB is looking for a qualified, motivated, and client- and team-focused individual to join our team in Portage, Michigan.

The Wealth Management & Private Banking Officer combines the skills of a Wealth Advisor and a Private Banker. The individual in this position will have extensive interation with high-net-worth bank clients and prospects requiring tact and persuasivenes in presenting the Bank's position. This position is responsible for developing new business, growing the department's assets under management, and developing personal and business account relationships with professionals and their businesses. Additionally, this position is responsible for administering accounts of simple to complex in scope, where the Bank acts in the capacity of Trustee under will or inter vivos trust agreements, personal representative, guardians of the assets of minors, or legally incapacitated or decedent estates under appointment of the court, agent under a custody, safekeeping or investment management arrangements. The individual in this position will have regular interaction with Bank clients and prospect in social settings, requiring sophistication to represent the Bank positively within the communites we serve. This individual will actively refer clients to all CNB Partners.

Ideal Candidates will have:

Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance if preferred; otherwise, much have a combination of applicable education and experience.

Previous investment management experience required.

Must have two to five years of bankig experience..

General knowledge of trust law and probate law.

Passion for providing a stellar client service experience to all clients (external and internal) and ability to instill this passion in others.

Excellent interpersonal skills (tactfulness, cooperation, courteousness and clients friendliness) are necessary to represent the bank in a positive manner.

Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely and effectively, with attention to detail for visually appealing output and accurately proofreading publications.

Excellent verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to effectively present information to customers and management.

Positive and cooperative approach when working with others.

Strong administrative skills with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve multiple project targets/goals.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Physical Requirements:

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Keyboard information (computer and calculator).

Travel to branch locations and client's homes or place of business, as needed.
