Accounts Receivable Associate - $60,000 - $70,000

Our client is looking for a hardworking, motivated, experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to join their team. This individual will be responsible for timely and accurate invoicing, collections and cash application in accordance to GAAP requirements. In addition to AR, this role will provide general administrative and office management support, requiring flexibility to handle a variety of tasks.

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Associate

Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000

Location: Painesville, OH

What's the Job?

Accurately record and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wires)

Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices

Process credit memos and adjustments as needed

Monitor customer accounts, follow up on past due balances, and escalate as needed

Partner with sales and management to resolve collections issues

Prepare cash collections forecasts and track progress against targets

Perform monthly AR reconciliations and support month-end close processes

Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls

Support internal and external audit requests

Manage office supplies, mail, and general administrative functions

Assist in preparing professional presentations and materials.

Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and expense reporting as needed

What's Needed?

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

MUST HAVE 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic pivot tables and look-ups), Word, PowerPoint

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Flexible mindset with willingness to support both AR responsibilities and general office needs

Have a Positive, Can-Do-Attitude and Professional demeanor.
