As a Combustor Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers on projects that contribute directly to the development and optimization of advanced combustor systems. This internship offers exposure spanning various aspects of combustor design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing processes.
What You Will Do
Perform simulations of combustor components and assemblies to evaluate performance (e.g. computational fluid dynamics, heat transfer, etc.)
Support experimental testing and data analysis for combustor components and assemblies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Combustors department.
Document findings and present results to engineering teams.

Qualifications You Must Have
Enrolled in a degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Qualifications We Prefer
Completed coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and combustion.
Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
Experience in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent).
Internship or project experience related to gas turbine engines or combustion systems.
Experience with experimental testing techniques and data acquisition systems.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
