About the role:
As a Regional Manager, Project Procurement you will support multiple major projects globally for our Long-Term Operations (LTO) business. You will join a team who are driving change in the nuclear energy market, with additional focus on Social Value, sustainability, and growth.
You will be the project leader responsible for large-scale Procurement Projects, working with teams and build and report project implementation plans. You will manage a team of 4 to 10 project procurement professionals responsible for multiple projects and lead all procurement activities in assigned programs to assure readiness for pre-pilot, pilot, and execution.
Ability to travel within Europe and America between 10% and 20% per year.
You will report to the Global Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Solutions (GSCS) - LTO and be 100% REMOTE.
Responsibilities:
Develop procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams
Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements
Preparation and coordination of the RFx Process and establishing sourcing strategies for suppliers and services
Prepare Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA
RFx development and preparation, definition of commercial conditions
Solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals while leading formulation of strategy and negotiation of pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy requirements for complex and specialized materials, equipment, components and services.
Evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements. Develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value.
Develop relationships with important suppliers and team members while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.
Use the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.
Understand all the important operational and commercial elements of suppliers
Understand supplier capacity, capability and manufacturing processes compared to project technical requirements in collaboration with Supplier Performance Organization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement procedures
Lead Contract preparation and purchasing process
Manage supply and supplier commitments after purchase order or contract is made, including change and contract management
Understand and analyzation of the entitlement and cost basis, leading negotiation, drafting agreements on changes and reflecting the change in the System (SAP)
Support the Accounts Payables for resolution of discrepancies between the supplier invoices and the purchase orders
Use Best-Cost Country Sourcing, with emphasis on middle/east Europe
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years experience in strategic procurement or global project procurement management
Contract Management Experience
Experience running complex procurement projects
Microsoft Project, SAP and Ariba experience
Knowledge in Nuclear Industry or regulated industry
Additional language (Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian or Spanish) is preferred
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $112,400 to $140,500 per year.
