The Corporate Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist II plays a critical role in supporting the bank's commercial lending operations by preparing accurate and compliant loan documentation. This position requires a deep understanding of complex loan structures including construction loans and the ability to navigate the unique documentation requirements each entails. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that all commercial loan documents are produced in strict accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and the specific terms outlined in loan approvals. Precision and an exceptional attention to detail are essential, as any errors or omissions in documentation can expose the bank to significant legal, financial, and reputational risks. The specialist must exercise sound judgment and a high level of independent problem-solving ability to interpret nuanced loan approval terms, identify missing or inconsistent information, and determine when further clarification or additional documentation is necessary. This requires a proactive approach to anticipate potential issues before they arise, troubleshoot documentation challenges autonomously, and implement solutions that maintain compliance without delaying loan closings. Working collaboratively with commercial lenders, credit officers, legal counsel, and other internal departments, the specialist gathers all required documentation, resolves discrepancies, and ensures all conditions of approval are fully met prior to releasing documents for execution. Strong communication skills enable effective coordination and timely resolution of complex issues, ensuring smooth and compliant loan closings even in high-pressure situations. Essential Job Responsibilities____ 1. Prepares comprehensive and error free loan documentation using LaserPro or internal templates, ensuring strict adherence to internal policies, banking regulations, and applicable legal requirements. Expectation is less than 1% external critical error rate and less than 5% internal critical error rate of draft documents. 2. Manages the loan documentation process for all assigned LaserPro loans to ensure that all loan documentation is produced in accordance with the loan approval and that draft and final loan documentation are created error free. 3.
