Job Title: 1st Class Marine Pipefitter

Location: Virginia (NOB NNSY & Little Creek)

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced 1st Class Marine Pipefitter with a valid DBIDS credential to join our shipyard team supporting operations at Naval Station Norfolk and Little Creek. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a skilled professional who excels in pipe bending and marine system installations. Key Responsibilities

Execute pipefitting tasks aboard marine vessels and shipyard facilities

Bend and shape pipes to fit complex marine systems

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise installations

Work with copper-nickel and carbon steel piping materials

Support threading, brazing, and general piping operations as needed

Required Skills & Experience

Proven expertise in marine pipefitting and pipe bending

Strong blueprint reading and layout skills

Familiarity with piping systems including threading and brazing

Experience working with copper-nickel and carbon steel

Additional Qualifications

Brazing experience preferred but not required

Must possess a valid DBIDS card for base access

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Comfortable with shipyard safety protocols and equipment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
