Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Job Description

This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day warehouse operations in support of a dedicated customer program focused on inventory management, refurbishment, and light manufacturing. Key responsibilities include inventory control, receiving, storage, and material movement, with a strong emphasis on safety, operational efficiency, and meeting customer deadlines. The role also ensures accurate data management within the ERP system and supports overall product quality goals.

Responsibilities

Coordinate safe and efficient receipt, storage, inventory, and dispatch of customer materials.

Ensure materials are stored properly, conserving space and complying with safety regulations.

Oversee proper staging of inventory to support refurbishment and light manufacturing.

Support and enforce safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Maintain accurate inventory records in WMS and ERP systems.

Participate in physical inventory counts, both routine and customer-initiated.

Control and monitor customer inventory, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.

Oversee the supply and staging of materials for fabrication, assembly, and sub-assembly processes.

Ensure materials are properly staged for inspection and counting.

Monitor and manage paperwork flow, including invoices, packing slips, and receipt documentation.

Coordinate with customer Project Managers on scheduling and forecasts.

Generate necessary documentation (e.g., delivery receipts) and coordinate with drivers for pickups, returns, and loop logistics.

Confirm materials are received and logged correctly in inventory systems.

Support Work Order entry and production tracking in the ERP system.

Coordinate as needed with customer contacts to schedule pickups, deliveries, or program-specific setup activities.

Serve as a point of contact for basic alignment, while escalating customer communications to the appropriate Project Manager as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in carpentry and woodworking.

Previous lead experience.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Experience with sit-down forklifts.

Proficiency with hand and power tools, including tape measures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in warehouse operations oversight.

Knowledge of safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Experience with WMS and ERP systems.

The work environment is a large warehouse set up like a wood shop, equipped with table saws, painting stations, chop saws, nail guns, and more. It is a bustling space with forklifts moving, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay

This is a fully onsite position in Kent,WA.
