Responsibilities Serving as a Construction Control Representative GS-0809-11 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Design and Construction Branch, in Facilities Management Division within Mission and Readiness Support Directorate in the Glynco, Georgia.. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the key interface person between the construction contractor and the Government. Responsible for assigned construction projects including field contract administration, inspection and surveillance for quality assurance, scheduling, progress payments, and overall coordination. The position functions as the key interface person between the construction contractor and the Government.Typical duties include: Maintains continual surveillance of assigned construction work. Communicates daily with construction contractors and Government project managers providing guidance covering a wide range of technical, contractual and administrative situations pertaining to assigned construction contracts.
