Description We are looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing organization in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Responsibilities:

Perform accurate bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with account balances.

Prepare monthly financial reports for multiple projects, specifically those in the development phase.

Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking.

Oversee accounts payable responsibilities, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.

Collaborate effectively with the development team to provide financial insights and support.

Prepare and submit closing pay application documents to lenders in accordance with established timelines.

Assist the company president with ad hoc financial tasks and reporting needs.

Maintain compliance with general ledger accounting standards and practices.

Contribute to month-end close processes by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statement preparation. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or development industries.

Proficiency in bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

Strong skills in journal entries and month-end close procedures.

Experience in preparing financial statements with attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
