Your Opportunity

The Subscription Services Division of EBSCO Information Services (EIS), located in Birmingham, AL, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a professional who brings expertise in the accounts receivable functions, as well as the ability to analyze complex financial data, maintain accuracy in high-volume transaction environments, and drive improvements in financial processes.

What You'll Do

The Accounts Receivable Representative will be responsible for financial customer services for EBSCO Information Services accounts. Responsibilities include collections, cash management, posting payments, balancing, reconciliations, customized reporting and maintaining customer master records related to billing, invoicing, and tax.

About You

HS diploma or equivalent

2 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting

2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel

Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word or similar applications

Positive attitude, customer-focused, organized, adapt quickly and pleasantly to change, challenge self and others to improve continuously, and delivers results in a complex, fast-changing environment.

Excellent data entry and computer skills, superior open communication, and people skills.

Analyze complex information and take a disciplined, fact-based approach to making decisions.

Team members may be asked to work remotely or within the office by their leadership team.

Must have access to high-speed internet at home due to the potential remote setting of this position.

What sets you apart:

2 years of experience in business-to-business collections.

Experience using SAP accounting software.

Familiarity with HighRadius or similar software.

High school, college, or other courses in accounting or finance.

Pay Range

USD $33,965.00 - USD $48,520.00 /Yr.

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location.
