Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Middle River, Maryland. This part-time position is designed as a Contract to permanent opportunity, offering a chance to showcase your skills and grow within the role. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing invoice processing, reconciling vendor accounts, and supporting accounts receivable tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

Process and code invoices with accuracy and efficiency.

Match invoices to corresponding purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.

Reconcile vendor statements to resolve discrepancies and maintain account accuracy.

Generate accounts payable reports and provide insights to management.

Assist in accounts receivable tasks, including reporting and handling clerical responsibilities.

Conduct check runs and ensure timely payment to vendors.

Perform 3-way matching to verify invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and reconciliation tasks. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

Proficiency in invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable functions, including purchase orders and 3-way matching.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and its applications in accounting tasks.

Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
