Senior Finance Manager, Cloud AI

You will join a team that enables cloud capacity delivery at the right time, place, and cost to support Microsoft's growing cloud business. As a Senior Finance Manager, you will lead end-to-end supply chain financials, ensuring compliance, driving process improvements, and mitigating risks. You'll gain experience in advanced financial modeling, supply chain planning, and cross-functional collaboration with global teams. This role offers flexibility and the chance to develop leadership and technical skills while shaping financial strategies for cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead financial analysis to deliver actionable insights and recommend growth and risk mitigation strategies, including scenario modeling to influence decision-making

Review and present findings to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and compelling manner

Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Business) to ensure seamless information flow and identify key drivers for informed decisions

Build collaborative relationships that foster transparency and remove barriers to execution

Anticipate stakeholder needs, prioritize effectively, and formulate strategies that drive long-term initiatives

Develop audience-specific reports and communications to ensure clarity, alignment, and effective decision-making

Improve efficiency of core finance activities through automation, process excellence, and advanced analytics

Simplify and enhance processes, systems, and tools to enable scale and operational effectiveness

Model inclusive behavior and provide mentorship and guidance to team members

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience

1+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or related operational functions

Additional or preferred qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field and 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance

Equivalent experience in related financial roles

Experience in multinational organizations with multi-product or multi-segment finance roles

Experience working in a matrix-based organization

Experience in the technology or software industry

Previous finance experience in cloud, supply chain, semiconductor industry, sourcing, and/or multinational companies

Analytical and strategic thinking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated experience in systems and process improvement

Highly collaborative and comfortable working in ambiguous environments; ability to influence across complex organizations

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines effectively

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
