Summary You will serve as a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC LEADER in the Crane Maintenance Division (C/730) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will plan and execute the repair of all @types of cranes such as: bridge, truck, portal, floating or other heavy mobile equipment. You will use instructions and guidance to communicate proper work methods and safety regulations. You will determine work methods, sequences, tools, and equipment to use in making the extensive repairs to the cranes and heavy mobile equipment. You will conduct appropriate operational test to ensure acceptable quality and satisfactory work completion.
