Kelly, in partnership with a growing chemical distributor, is looking for a Electrical Maintenance Technician in Petersburg, VA.

This is a direct hire opportunity meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their vacation time, benefits and compensation upon hire.

Details:

Hours: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday

Salary: $32 - $40 per hour, potentially higher based on experience

Location: Petersburg, VA

Job Description:

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, systems, and machinery.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, recommending and implementing solutions to repair faulty equipment.

Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure seamless manufacturing processes.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in all maintenance activities.

Participate in training and development programs to stay informed about the latest technologies and maintenance practices.

Requirements:

1+ years of experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role in a chemical environment
