We're looking for an experienced and collaborative General Construction Superintendent in Cary/Clayton, NC, who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running like they should. You'll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site, and ensure the right materials, equipment and people are there to get the job done. Bachelors degree in Construction Management or equivalent; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree At least15 years of construction site experience At least15 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-construction, constructability, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required Ability to lead and manage all field operations across multiple superintendents, trade partners, and different trades. Facilitate daily coordination and resolve field-level conflicts while providing a collaborative and productive job-site culture. Provide leadership and oversight to a team of superintendents ensuring effective coordination, guidance, and support. Provide regular updates on field construction progress, identify and evaluate risks, and provide mitigation strategies. Strong understanding of multi-discipline construction activities, systems and associated equipment. Experience and understanding with 3D modeling software. Management adherence to project schedules and milestones. Knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance testing/reporting.

Ideally, you'll also have:

Pharmaceutical industry experience (GMP, cleanrooms, FDA, ISO) Experience and comfort in process utility systems and equipment systems Knowledge and experience with project turnover strategies from walk and punch to system turnover with the client for commissioning activities. Knowledge and experience with implementation of LEAN strategies and technologies in project execution, including Last Planner System (LPS), Takt planning, (IAP) Interactive Planning Session. OSHA 30 (within last 3 years)
