The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services and background checks. Job Skills / Requirements $19.00/hour 1 position: Tues-Sat 1:30pm-9:30pm Per Mar Security Services is seeking Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers to join our expanding team! Responsibilities: More of a loss prevention job than a security job. We check vehicles in and give directions as to where their product is in the lumber yard. When they come to exit, we check to make sure that the product that they purchased is in fact the product that they have in their vehicle or trailer. Loss Prevention | Checking orders and counting purchased product Computers | Hand held computers used, must have good understanding of computers Product Knowledge | Generally, good knowledge of the building industry and construction is required. Walking | Can be very busy in the summer months, a lot of walking required on Concrete is required. Communication | A lot of interaction with the public, must be able to communicate well Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security Warn violators of premise rules and regulations Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts Report any facility issues Request emergency personnel for high risk situations Some of our amazing benefits include: Health Benefits Full Shifts Available NO DEPOSIT for Uniforms FREE Competitive Compensation Employee Referral Bonus Program Qualifications: 18 years of age or older Familiarity with security equipment Ability to handle physical workload Strong attention to detail Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
