Apple Valle Health Care Center is seeking a dynamic RN, Director of Nursing to led our clinical team! As the RN, Director of Nursing at Apple Valley Health Care Center, you will primarily be in charge of processes, compliance, mentoring others, and collaboratively working with RN Managers in TCU, LTC, and Memory Care. A top-notch, seasoned DON will be your main go-to nurse to ensure resident care is consistently being delivered. As this is one of the larger Cassia campus', you will receive continuous support from our large team of Nurse Managers and an Assistant Director of Nursing!

Our ideal candidate will be a leader who thrives on teamwork and is passionate about creating and implementing best-in-class nursing processes that are used among all nursing staff members. Your leadership will empower our staff and enhance the quality of care we provide to our residents.

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Wage Range: $118,000 - $133,000 Annually depending on experience

Location: 14650 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124

Director of Nursing (DON) responsibilities:

Plan, develop, direct, and supervise our entire nursing department in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.

Ensure our residents' physical, intellectual, emotional, and social well-being needs are met.

Promote and demonstrate excellence within our multi-disciplinary team.

Develop methods for coordination of all resident services to ensure the continuity of person-centered care.

Meet expectations for participation in reimbursement programs in effort to maintain our reputation for quality of care.

Lead change efforts and promote innovations in resident care.

Maintain the highest standard for providing resident care through exceptional hiring, training, and mentoring programs.

Director of Nursing (DON) skills and requirements:

Previous Director of Nursing (DON) experience preferred.

3 years of SNF experience strongly preferred.

Must have a current MN Registered Nurse license and be in good standing.

Leadership expertise, demonstrated clinical and assessment competencies.

Strong team-building and communication skills are required, along with excellent professional and supportive supervisory experience.

Strong knowledge of state and federal long term care regulations. Experience implementing, monitoring and auditing systems to meet regulatory requirements and Cassia standards of quality.
