AtAmericare Senior Living, were looking for a compassionate and experiencedDirector of Nursing (DON)to lead our clinical team. In this key leadership role, youll oversee nursing operations, guide staff, and ensure exceptional resident care in a supportive, home-like environment.

As DON, youll also play an integral role in ourHomeward Bound (Rehab to Home)programsupporting residents on their journey from recovery back to independence.

Your Role as the Director of Nursing

As the Director of Nursing, youll lead the clinical team to ensure exceptional care for our residents. Youll oversee all nursing services, providing supervision and guidance while maintaining compliance with policies, regulations, and Americares high standards. Collaborating with other departments, youll manage assessments, care plans, and staff development, ensuring smooth operations. Your leadership will play a key role in fostering a safe, home-like environment while supporting the well-being of both residents and team members.

What Youll Do

Oversee the clinical supervision and administration of all nursing services.

Implement and maintain nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures, revising them as necessary.

Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members.

Collaborate with community administrators to ensure all staff receive necessary orientation and training.

Conduct regular assessments of residents and ensure all required documentation is up-to-date.

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Americare regulations.
