What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Monitor access control points, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help maintain authorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement as necessary to address security-related matters.
Assist in controlling the flow of personnel and/or vehicles within the manufacturing and industrial environment, maintaining awareness of operational procedures.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
