Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy fast-paced work environment This role is multifaceted, requiring a positive attitude with attention to detail in greeting, seating, maintaining stock and selling items in the retail division. They also set the first and last human impressions for customers during their experience at Hillbilly's Grub N Pub. Hosts must be aware of all the "happenings" at Hillbilly's and be a valued source of information on the overall Hillbilly's guest experience. This job is essential in maintaining the Hillbilly image and continued growth and success

Duties

Greeting all customers with a positive impression as they enter Hillbilly's and welcoming them back as they exit

Answer the phone, be competent in answering questions to create continued growth

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including proper storage of necessary items.

Take, manage and execute reservations and wait lists for walk-in customers to maximize sales and customer satisfaction

Seat guests in a warm and friendly manner, while maintaining guests' needs and requests during seating rotations and direction of guests to different areas of Hillbilly's Grub N Pub

Collaborate with entire staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Skills

Proficient in basic math skills to operate our POS system

Ability to maintain a warm positive disposition while playing the Hillbilly Role

Experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Strong attention to detail

Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with entire staff.

A willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary techniques and recipes.
