Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will be responsible for picking and packing parts in a dynamic, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. You will handle products ranging in size from an Apple Watch to a flat-screen TV, requiring flexibility in job duties. The role primarily involves standing on a line to package products, matching numbers and labels, and picking products throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Pick and pack products accurately and efficiently.

Stand on a packing line for extended periods to package products.

Match numbers and labels to ensure correct product selection.

Utilize RF scan procedures to manage inventory.

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.

Handle material loading and stacking tasks.

Essential Skills

Experience in picking and packing in a warehouse setting.

Proficiency in RF scan procedures.

Capability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

Material handling and loading skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

6+ months of experience in a warehouse environment.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.

1+ years of experience operating stand-up forklifts preferred.

Work Environment

You will work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse housing over 7,500 products, with a team size ranging from 30 to 50 employees depending on the season. Available shifts include 5:00 am-2:00 pm from Monday to Friday and 2:00 pm-12:30 am from Monday to Thursday. The dress code is relaxed, requiring closed-toed shoes, pants, and a T-shirt, with any offensive tattoos covered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LENEXA, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
