Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. This is a contract position where you will play a key role in supporting the Legal Counsel Department by managing administrative tasks, assisting with legal documentation, and ensuring smooth departmental operations. Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the Legal Counsel Department, including scheduling meetings, responding to inquiries, and maintaining calendars for attorneys.

Conduct fact investigations and assist in the preparation of legal documents such as nondisclosure agreements, contracts, briefs, and pleadings.

Organize and maintain a comprehensive legal filing system to ensure accessibility and accuracy of records.

Collaborate with attorneys on case management tasks and support them with new matters as they arise.

Prepare departmental reports and monitor progress on multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Facilitate communication with various departments and external parties to foster effective business relationships.

Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in all tasks.

Assist in special projects and other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements - At least 2 years of paralegal experience or equivalent experience in the banking industry.

Paralegal certification or an associate degree or higher is preferred.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain discretion when working with sensitive information.

Experience with civil litigation, trial preparation, discovery, and case management software.

High level of attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all aspects of work.
