Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Riverdale, Maryland, and offers an excellent opportunity to manage and oversee payroll operations in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

Process and manage full-cycle payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.

Prepare and file payroll tax reports, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.

Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Administer multi-state payroll processes, ensuring compliance across various jurisdictions.

Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll activities and maintain employee records.

Conduct regular audits of payroll systems to identify and address potential issues.

Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and tax matters with professionalism and clarity.

Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Generate and analyze payroll reports to support decision-making and reporting requirements. Requirements

3 plus years of payroll tax reporting is required.
