The Building Automation Service Sales Manager is committed to promoting Siemens' strong market position for delivering smart building technology to help our customers create outstanding experiences for their customers. Why is this role so important? Our Sales Managers lead a team responsible for transforming buildings to be digitally connected and controlled, and with your strong leadership skills and passion for team building, you'll help find and hire top talent, develop employees, and promote long-term retention.??

As a Building Automation Service Sales Manager, you will:

Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas

Act as a resource to sales employees regarding our products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases, including job turnover and implementation

Communicate goals, provide mentoring to develop skills, lead employee performance, and conduct performance appraisals and coach sellers to strategically assess customer needs and identify customer buying priorities?

Review bids to ensure accuracy to meet company and customer objectives; assist employees in setting margins, identifying resources, assessing future business, and establishing executive-level relationships with targeted contractors and customers

Network with field organization, headquarters, and other Siemens' divisions to gain knowledge of offerings, share knowledge with your team and other employees, and develop sales forecasts and provide input to sales targets?

Assist the sales team in identifying market opportunities and develop strategies to improve impact to the company; participate in development of long-range sales planning and growth strategies

Articulate and drive our digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics; maintain trade contacts and participate in industry association functions

Travel overnight 10% on average for training and business development

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:?

High school diploma or state-recognized GED

10+ years of sales experience

Must be able to demonstrate:

Technical proficiency within the building automation controls industry

Ability to interpret job specifications and drawings to coach sellers in developing winning strategies

Working knowledge and understanding of contracting business with tier of contractors

Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills?

Verbal and written communication skills in English

Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' Fleet Vehicle Program?

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering

Management experience in the construction industry

Experience selling to various vertical markets such as healthcare, higher education, etc.

Experience selling to contractors, architects, and/or end users

Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
