Kelly ® is seeking a Construction Field Lead to support pipeline and terminal sites in the Golden Pass Terminal Brownfield facilities. This lead position plays a critical role in overseeing contractor activity, ensuring safety, and maintaining quality standards across multiple disciplines.
Location: Sabine Pass Terminal, TX & Pipeline sites (Starks, LA and Sabine Pass, TX)
Travel: Required between pipeline locations (using personal vehicle; 40% at pipeline, 60% at terminal)
Schedule: 10 hours/day, 5 days/week (Start time: 6am)
Duration: 1 year (with possible extensioin)
Pay: $60 - $65 per hour (DOE)
Main Functions
Champion worker safety programs at all locations
Oversee site contractor construction activities during Execution Phase
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure safety, quality assurance, and scheduling of field activities
Assist Maintenance Projects and Turnaround Supervisor with planning, monitoring, and coordination
Provide professional insight and core construction expertise to project teams and contractors
Maintain strong communication and working relationships with contractors
Tasks & Responsibilities
Lead on-site safety awareness and performance for contractors and project team
Supervise contractor personnel; enforce all Safety, Health, and Environmental procedures and policies
Collaborate with contractors for construction planning and daily work execution
Monitor safety, quality, cost, and schedule during construction
Address quality and progress issues with QA/QC personnel
Oversee contractor materials management and ensure compliance with project specifications
Track workforce productivity and project schedule
Ensure environmental compliance requirements are met
Manage field-level scope and cost changes
Verify proper arrival and handling of procured equipment
Support site Work Management System, including permitting, JSA reviews, and LOTO
Assist in commissioning and systems completion as needed
Coordinate quality audits and site surveillance activities
Mentor and develop Early Career Professionals
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Minimum 10 years (15+ preferred) relevant construction site experience across disciplines: Civil, Structural, Mechanical/Piping, Scaffolding, Electrical, Instrumentation/Controls, Insulation, Painting, etc.
Experience in marine environments, hot/cold taps, and pile installation is desired
General proficiency with MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver's license
Familiar with OSHA 1910 and OSHA 1926 standards for construction safety
MUST have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
Willing and able to work beyond 40 hours weekly
