Work you'll do:
As Operational Finance Transformation Senior Consultant, you will support the execution of projects for some of the world's biggest organizations. You will identify, analyze, and implement business and technology solutions that drive operational effectiveness and efficiency. In this role, you will own work products and activities that architect and guide strategies and transformation efforts that enable growth and value creation by driving innovation into core business processes, standardizing and simplifying the way work gets done, and optimizing service delivery models.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of the full Finance function (specifically Invoice to Pay, Invoice to Cash, and Record to Report) as well as the related operating model structures, technologies/solutions (including AI use cases and ERP enablement) and performance measurements. This individual will have a foundational skillset of integrating technology and process design, as well as leading complex change management initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic business transformation programs, architect effective governance structures, implement new capabilities on a global scale, and optimize functional processes by leveraging the latest technologies.

Senior Consultant responsibilities include:
Deliver service excellence by identifying and addressing complex client business issues, serving as a trusted advisor.
Support the response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and other client opportunities, shaping solution approaches and guiding pursuit teams.
Own project deliverables and activities, ensuring the quality, consistency, and impact of deliverables
Apply advanced assessment techniques and emerging technologies best suited to each client's unique needs, providing strategic recommendations.
Validate analysis, ensuring recommendations are aligned with client objectives and the broader engagement @context.
Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to support the professional growth of junior staff
Contribute to the evolution of Deloitte's GBS Strategy offerings by sharing insights, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting practice growth initiatives.

Our solutions and capabilities support ERP-enabled transformation through the functional design, implementation, and governance of processes, controls, and policies.
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline
4+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience within Finance Operations (Invoice to Cash, Invoice to Pay, or Record to Report)
Demonstrated experience with service delivery model strategy, design, implementation, and optimization for multi-functional or single-function entities
Proven financial modeling/analysis and business case development capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience leveraging leading edge technologies that enable Finance operations processes (e.g., AI, Predictive Analytics, RPA, HighRadius, BlackLine, Basware)
Familiarity with ERPs and understanding of how they enable Finance operations
Practical exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar customer-oriented workflow platforms
Demonstrated ability to create compelling storyboards and presentations for diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred

Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) is a plus
Prior experience with Business Process Technology vendor selection
Ability to translate technology capabilities into actionable process improvements
Previous experience in developing proposals
MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 124,950- $ 218,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
