What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology, LLC has an opportunity available for a Compliance Officer (Cloud Programs) to support our Government Services team in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure. The Compliance Officer (Cloud Platforms) is responsible for ensuring that the organization's cloud infrastructure adheres to regulatory standards and best practices for security. This role involves managing compliance, risk, and security policies to protect data and systems in the cloud environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards.
Understand and manage data storage, access, processing, and protection to meet compliance requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with cloud platforms.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security controls.
Develop and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Manage privacy and security risks by monitoring data in the cloud and enforcing policies to flag violations.
Work closely with cloud and cybersecurity teams to maintain a consistent security model.
Educate cloud teams on security policies and procedures and collaborate to address security risks and vulnerabilities.
Develop and implement incident response plans to quickly address and recover from security breaches.
Ensure secure backups and recovery plans are in place to protect applications and data.
Implement continuous monitoring solutions to maintain visibility into the organization's risk posture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in cybersecurity compliance, particularly in cloud environments.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards.
Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Desired but not required: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCSP.
Experience with cloud security tools and platforms.
Clearance Requirements:
Secret with the ability to obtain a Top Secret

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $126,000.00 to $162,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
