Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, Customer Care - this role will strengthen the relationship between JBT FoodTech ( JBTM) and its customers.
Forging ties with key customer contacts
Determine customer needs, execution, and resolution
Propose solutions to customer issues utilizing our customer care organization and resources.
Increase sales to each customer by leveraging parts availability, pricing, and quality to better position JBTM service, kit, and project offerings.
Position is directly responsible for maintaining and growing sales of parts projects and PRoCARE/SLA (Service Level Agreements) in a territory currently generating up to $23M+ in revenue.
You will cover midwest territory: OH, MN, WI, MI, IN, IL, MO, KY, or IA and should have access to an airport.

Essential Duties:
Use sales enablement tools (share of wallet calculator, Salesforce funnel management & activity tracking) to maintain and improve JBTM sales within the territory and report out results
Establish communication channels with the customers in the assigned territory in order to be the "go to" resource for any problems arising from the sale of JBTM parts, PRoCARE/SLA or projects and drive issues to satisfactory conclusion for the customer (Customer Advocate)
Communicate internally regarding our parts pricing, availability and quality performance and the direction required to improve them.
Develop, nurture and maintain positive working relationships with key influential individuals at most of our customer sites within the geographic sales territory.
Work closely with Service Managers, Parts Managers, Project Management and Sales to promote and grow parts, projects and PRoCARE/SLA sales within the territory.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a sales role or experience from the industry
Sales in Aftermarket Services, parts replacement, Installs, rebuilds and kit preparation preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability work in a multi-discipline team environment
Analytical, organized and goal oriented
Experience using Share of Wallet Calculator, CRM, Salesforce (SMax), Power Bi, ERP systems, and Territory Sales information to maintain and improve sales.
Ability to travel up to 75% by car or airplane to meet with customers at food processing plants in the Territory.
Valid Driver's license required.

Position will require successful candidate to have a high degree of creativity, problem solving, judgment, and communications skills. Significant autonomy and initiative required to investigate customer needs and our opportunity to meet them, then collaborate with other functions for necessary resources to meet the commitments to customers. Tracking of customer sales and satisfaction. Errors could result in lost sales and adverse customer relationships.
