Adecco is helping to hire for an Accountant with a leader in the Aerospace Industry located in Torrance! This is a contract role, expecting to last around 5 months, and you will be required to sit onsite. Please see below for more details and let us know if you're interested!

Pay: $ 66.90/hr

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)

Job Description:

In this role, you will assist with general accounting functions such as financial reporting, fixed assets management, inter-company accounting, and daily expense analysis.

Essential Duties:

· Assist with month end closing including preparing and posting of journal entries

· Assist in monitoring and managing of day-to-day cost accounting function including Raw material, Work-in-process and Finished goods inventory management

· Review open and close work orders to analyze and correct variances and costing errors in the system

· Assist in the preparation of the monthly business review and Business Unit Staff meeting packages

· Perform a monthly testing of internal controls to maintain internal controls and to ensure that the location follows internal audit and headquarters policies and procedures

· Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports as required by corporate headquarters

· Assist controller with monthly forecast, planning and budgeting as needed.

Requirements:

· B.S. in Accounting/Finance or related field and 7+ years of experience

· Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Oracle and ERP, GAAP, IFRS

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical skills and ability

Pay Details:** $66.90 per hour
