As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will be stationed at a prestigious hotel and resort location, where you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals, verifying credentials as required by location policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
Assist with crowd management and/or guest inquiries during peak periods or special events at the location.
Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address concerns and provide a positive experience for guests and visitors.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
