Our client is a large and rapidly growing manufacturing organization with multiple U.S. locations and a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and operational excellence. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a strategic and hands-on Finance Director to lead financial operations across multiple sites. This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility to executive leadership and significant influence on business decision-making.

Position Overview:

The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, strategic financial planning, and operational analysis across several manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing finance and demonstrated success in driving financial performance and process improvement in a complex, multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial planning and analysis (FP& A) activities across multiple manufacturing sites.

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Partner with plant and operations leadership to support cost analysis, pricing strategies, and capital investment decisions.

Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts; provide variance analysis and actionable insights.

Drive standardization and efficiency in financial processes across all locations.

Support strategic initiatives, including M& A evaluations, footprint optimization, and profitability improvement efforts.

Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and GAAP standards.

Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple sites.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

8-12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a strong background in manufacturing.

Proven experience in multi-site finance leadership within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cost accounting.

Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with a hands-on approach.

Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Highly Desired):

CPA designation or MBA.

Experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm.

Experience working in a high-growth or private equity-backed environment.

ERP system implementation or optimization experience.
