As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Center - Full Time in Brookwood, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to an access control post in a manufacturing and industrial setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for everyone on site. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Working in unique settings with limited on-site facilities, you will be part of a team that values reliability, agility, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity.

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.

Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures.

Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks.

Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activity according to site policies.

Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address access control concerns and/or procedural updates.

Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and procedures.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Willingness to work at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
