This role supports factories in the Advanced Product Center (APC), APEX McKinney, TX, Radio Frequency Microelectronics. The Cell Lead manages between 10-20 Production or Acceptance Technician employees. Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members to achieve operational targets aligned with our key process metrics in safety, quality, cost, and production. Strives to eliminate barriers for their team which can involve making modifications in systems and processes to solve problems or increase effectiveness in the work area. Collaborates regularly with support teams within and outside of their own department such as quality, product/process engineering, and industrial engineering to achieve goals. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are followed by direct reports. Manages day-to-day elements of the budget. Provides primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.
The Cell Lead position is onsite, and 1st shift.
What You Will Do
Achieve RTX Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) objectives by using the CORE methods to drive continuous improvement
Stand for prolonged periods and move throughout the factory following your cell processes
Work occasional overtime during the week or weekends to support customer needs
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Experience working in a manufacturing/factory environment as a supervisor, lead, or test technician
U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Understands management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution.
Experience working in a manufacturing aerospace or defense industry environment
Knowledge and experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
Experience working in a microelectronics assembly factory or similar environment
Familiarity with industry or military specifications advantageous
Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
