A well-established boutique law firm in Orange County is seeking an Associate Attorney to support its real estate and transactional practice. In this role, you'll work directly with experienced partners on a variety of matters, including commercial real estate acquisitions, financings, leasing, and business transactions. You'll take ownership of complex closings, draft and negotiate agreements, and advise clients on practical solutions that balance legal precision with business goals. This is an opportunity to sharpen your real estate expertise while building lasting client relationships in a collaborative and supportive environment.

NOTE: This opportunity can be remote, but you must be barred in CA.

Responsibilities

Handle commercial real estate and business transactions

Assist with stock and asset transactions, including term and accounts receivable financing

Independently manage complex commercial real estate closings

Draft and review finance documents, security instruments, corporate filings, consents, and resolutions

Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, prioritizing practical solutions

Contribute effectively in a team environment while managing deadlines independently

Maintain strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability

Requirements

J.D. and active California Bar license (required)

3-5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney

Transactional and/or commercial real estate experience

Admission in additional states (CO, AZ, NM, OR, WA, ID, etc.) is a plus

Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills
