How You'll Make an Impact

Supporting the Manufacturing Production Team to execute our S>>Q>D>I>C vision. Safety, above all, Quality is greater than delivery, which is more important than inventory and cost.

Lead process optimization and equipment layout improvements to increase assembly, testing, and shipping efficiency.

Develop manufacturing procedures, standard work, and tooling concepts, focusing on repeatability, cost reduction, and throughput.

Identify and resolve manufacturing and testing bottlenecks, working cross-functionally with design engineering, Quality, and production teams.

Monitor key production metrics (OEE, quality, cycle time) and drive corrective actions as needed.

Support root cause analysis, failure investigations, and continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.

Develop and maintain training materials and work instructions for technicians and operators.

Drive process standardization across product lines to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.

Lead and participate in process improvement and Kaizen activities.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

A Bachelor's Degree (preferably a Master's) in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field is required.

3+ years of experience in manufacturing process development, industrial engineering, or production process optimization.

Strong understanding of process flow, equipment layout design, work standardization, and manufacturing efficiency

Experience working in high-mix, low-volume, or engineered-to-order environments is an advantage.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles; at least a green belt certification preferred

Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
