Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $102,500.00 - $139,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to lead cross functional projects, initiatives and processes within Commercial Payments targeted at increasing leverage within the organization.
Essential Functions
Support transformation projects within the organization
Define and create complex projects to provide repeatable processes, tools, and frameworks to meet Commercial Payments Blue Chip priorities
Support line of business teams to drive key projects across the organization to create templates and consistent ways of operating across each line of business
Work closely with senior management regarding prioritization of projects within their business line and across the department
Operate as a liaison for departments outside of Commercial Payments to articulate strategies, priorities and represent the focus of resources
Collaborate with other Project Management leads, senior management, and other project management offices in developing and reviewing project management methodologies
Coordinate across cross-functional teams and drive repeatable processes
Define initiatives, project scope, develop business requirements, and assess resource availability (planning)
Perform tasks necessary to complete projects (analysis/implementation) and remove impediments as needed
Develops project documentation, monitor project cost vs. budget, measure return on investment, and communicate change across broader team
Management of Project Managers and Business Analyst members enabling them to meet project objectives.
Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs
Perform all necessary management functions, including hiring, evaluations, annual increase allocations and disciplinary action as required
Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively
Support budget management, planning and expenditure
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of the project management field, including knowledge of best practices
Strong knowledge of the sales and payments industry, including knowledge of best practices
Ability to manage software implementation and/or development projects
Excellent problem solving skills, with ability to understand technical aspects to guide and assist project team
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems
Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business
Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate team members and foster a positive team environment that gives way to collaboration and unified goals
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
8+ years project management, process improvement, and/or sales experience required
5+ years leadership/supervisory experience required
Experience leading Agile and Waterfall projects required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
