Job Title: CDL Driver/Field Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Field Service Technician with a CDL-A license to join our team. This role combines technical expertise with customer service and logistics to ensure secure, on-site shredding and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will travel to client sites, operate and maintain shredding equipment, drive our custom-built trucks, and manage daily operations, including inventory control and client interaction.

Responsibilities

Travel to client sites to provide on-site shredding services.

Operate and maintain shredding equipment and custom-built trucks.

Manage daily operations, including inventory control and client interaction.

Ensure secure and efficient shredding operations.

Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients.

Essential Skills

Valid CDL-A license required.

Experience in operating and maintaining industrial machinery or similar technical equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with inventory management processes.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Physical ability to handle equipment setup and operation.

Clean driving record required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with box trucks.

Familiarity with DOT regulations.

Work Environment

Work independently with minimal supervision. Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Chantilly, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Overview includes:

2 bonuses per year

401K; match up to 6%

80% health benefits coverage; free dental/vision coverage

This is a fully onsite position in Chantilly,VA.
