Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Assembler for our 1st Shift (5am to 1:30pm) with the flexibility to start at 4am and work some Saturdays. You will play a crucial role in our production process by assembling, labeling, and packaging medical cables, as well as performing in-process testing and operating basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

Perform basic manufacturing and assembly tasks.

Label and package cables accurately.

Conduct in-process testing and operate basic hand tools and production equipment.

Work in a bench-top assembly environment, handling tasks such as prepping, stripping, tinning, crimping, and soldering of medical cables.

Accurately record process documentation.

Interpret, read, and follow all work instructions and engineering drawings.

Comply with all safety requirements, manufacturing practices, procedures, and standard operating procedures.

Use basic measurement skills with hand tools and electronic equipment such as rulers, scales, micrometers, and calipers.

Essential Skills

Experience in assembly and soldering.

Ability to operate hand tools and work in a cleanroom environment.

Proficiency in production tasks and soldering medical devices.

Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

A minimum of 3 to 6 months of experience, preferably 2 to 3 years for a higher pay range.

Soldering experience is required.

Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Costa Mesa, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
