Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to support billing, reconciliation, and payment management for a hospitality-focused organization. Based in New Albany, Ohio, this long-term contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing critical financial processes for franchise operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounts receivable activities.

Responsibilities:

Generate and process invoices for over 700 franchise locations, including both automated and manual @types.

Set up franchise locations in the payment portal to facilitate smooth transactions.

Create receipts and apply payments to customer accounts daily, managing high volumes of autopay entries on specific dates.

Perform month-end reconciliations and ensure invoices are accurately reviewed before closing on the second day of the month.

Prepare detailed aging reports to track overdue accounts and maintain financial accuracy.

Send collection letters, handle incoming calls from franchise locations, and arrange payment plans as needed.

Utilize Excel for data analysis, including formulas and pivot tables, to streamline accounts receivable tasks.

Collaborate with Oracle and Ready, Set, Pay (powered by Esker) systems for billing and payment portal management.

Maintain clear and precise communication with franchise partners to resolve financial inquiries efficiently. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, including billing and cash applications.

Demonstrated ability to manage collections and aging reports effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced tools such as pivot tables and formulas.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for handling high-volume transactions.

Ability to perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy in month-end financial closings.

Excellent communication skills for managing franchise inquiries and payment arrangements.

Familiarity with Oracle billing systems and Ready, Set, Pay is a plus but not required.
