The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Montana State Hospital. TheDietary Clerkprovides clerical support for the Dietary Office. Responsibilities include diet orders, food inventory, store orders, filing and phone calls. This position may also call out shift workers as needed for work shortages. Required for the first day of work: Thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures. General knowledge of clerical office functions. Customer service and phone etiquette skills. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Alphabetical filing and organization skills. Ability to use initiative, problem solve, and follow up with information requests. Ability to prioritize and multitask work requests. Ability to develop and maintain cooperative work relationships. Ability to operate personal computer and general office equipment such as spreadsheets, word processing, database, email, internet, and other computer programs. Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience): High school diploma or equivalent. One year of job-related work experience in an office or clerical environment.
