Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Calabasas, California. This role involves managing invoice processing and payment operations across multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices daily using AvidXchange, ensuring accuracy and proper approval.

Handle payments for over 30 properties, including reimbursements, mortgages, and recurring invoices.

Verify coding of invoices and ensure expense accounts and cost codes are applied correctly.

Prepare checks bi-monthly and match them with vendor remittance stubs.

Maintain and manage vendor W9 forms within the designated software system.

Address and resolve payment-related issues promptly, communicating with relevant parties.

Ensure timely completion of tasks in alignment with due dates and business priorities.

FedEx urgent payments as directed by the AP Supervisor or Property Manager.

Perform responsibilities with precision to foster positive relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

Research discrepancies thoroughly to maintain smooth operations. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a property management setting.

Familiarity with property management software, such as MRI, is highly desirable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative and reliability.
