Adjunct Job Announcement

Position: Health and Physical Education Adjunct Instructor for the Dual Achievement Program (DAP)

Location: Athens Campus

Department: Office of Secondary Initiatives

Reports to: Executive Director for Secondary Initiatives

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Deadline to Apply: October 2, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in health or physical education or a related field.

Strong communication skills and work ethic.

Willingness to teach at all Athens Technical College locations including high school campuses.

Willingness to teach using all college approved methods (Ex. face to face, online, audio/video, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience at the secondary level.

Active teaching certificate.

Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

Experience with online teaching platforms; Blackboard preferred.
