Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Legal Assistant join our client and support the attorneys in delivering high-quality legal services. The firm is in general civil litigation and transactional law. They also represent school districts in Arkansas. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of legal assistant experience, particularly in civil litigation and transactional work. This is a full time opportunity that is onsite Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Answer and manage incoming phone calls and coordinate in-office guests.

Translate attorney requests into legal documents, including pleadings and discovery responses.

Draft and format legal documents for filing in state and federal courts, primarily using Word.

Handle digital court filings, including experience with Arkansas court systems.

Maintain and organize client files using Google Docs for external review and SharePoint for internal documentation.

Support attorneys with both defense and plaintiff-side litigation, with a heavier emphasis on defense.

Assist with transactional document preparation and general administrative support

Skills and Requirements

2-3 years of experience as a legal assistant in a litigation-focused firm.

Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, including discovery and pleadings.

Experience with Arkansas court filing systems and digital platforms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with Google Docs and SharePoint.

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
