Consultant ? Job Desription Summary:?

As a key member of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Retail Integration Support team, the Consultant will play an essential role in supporting DLA's J34s Retail and Strategic Management mission. Working within DLA Logistics Operations (J3), this position contributes to the strategic management of end-to-end supply chains, which directly impact warfighter readiness across all levels of conflict.

Roles & Responsibilities:??

Interfaces closely with the client on a day-to-day basis to support program management, process improvements and optimization of DLA retail support at defense industrial sites and diverse strategic initiatives that directly impact DLA J3 and DLA J34.

Will track and report on implementation plans, conduct periodic data analysis, coordinate status across the DLA enterprise affected by the changes and support the implementation as required.

Will support scheduling, preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, distribution of meeting summaries and track action items.

Perform all assigned tasks using proven and repeatable processes.

Prepare and submit required contract deliverables as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

Requirements:??

Minimum of 5 years of experience

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business or a logistics related field.

Proven experience in strategic communications, including technical writing and presentation development.

Familiarity with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) operations and processes preferred.

Strong interpersonal and coordination skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
