As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrols in Sparrows Point, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting regular patrols throughout the site, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is a driving post, so you will operate a company vehicle to monitor various areas of the facility. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor and report any security-related concerns or hazards identified during patrols or while on post.
Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel and/or emergency responders as necessary to address incidents or concerns.
Complete required documentation and reports related to incidents, patrols or other site activities.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid driver's license is preferred and is required for driving positions as outlined by Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements for primarily driving posts.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
