Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18-19/Hour

6 Month Contract to Hire: Long-term & Permanent position with a company that offers opportunities for growth

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Practice Representative to join our esteemed client's outpatient team in Baltimore. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of Maryland's largest healthcare providers, known for delivering exceptional patient care across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Perform charge entry and collect co-pays

Manage medical records: pull, refile, and maintain documentation

Answer patient inquiries via phone with professionalism and empathy

Process referrals and release of medical records information

Support facility and professional collections optimization

File loose reports and maintain filing systems

Qualifications

1-2+ years of experience in medical scheduling, reception, administration, phone operations, co-pay collection, and prior authorizations

Experience with Cerner EMR is a strong plus

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
