The 2nd Shift Manufacturing Team Leader - Production Supervision is responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring that production schedules are met, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). This role requires an understanding of manufacturing operations, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Our facility in Bohemia, NY specializes in producing high-quality electrical power systems, and other aerospace technologies that support both commercial and military aircraft. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the execution of manufacturing processes to ensure timely and efficient production.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Maintain high standards of quality by implementing and monitoring quality control processes.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of products.
Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality and delivery
Develop and implement standard work procedures and best practices.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and other departments to resolve production issues.
Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing)

This position requires U.S. citizenship status.
This is a 2nd shift position (expected hours are 3/3:30pm to 12:30am)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior people leadership experience preferred
Knowledge of GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating model and/or experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience in the aerospace industry
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

The base pay range for this position is $90,500 to $113,200. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 10/10/2025.
