RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide solutions in translating business requirements into technical design and execution of custom models for the Trade Surveillance Team using Actimize Intelligence Server and aid Risk Case Manager to satisfy internal and external regulatory requirements.
Work on data procurement from internal/external source providers and build Informatica ETLs to source the data in the Surveillance database.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle including development, implementation, and maintenance of ETL Trade Surveillance models and DART reports.
Work with the team in a highly scalable, load-balanced, and secured environment with Oracle and ensure that alerts and reports meet SLAs consistently.
Perform unit, integration, system level of testing and configuration management of models- Supporting SIT and UAT by providing any clarifications as needed.
Apply experience with financial instrument @types including fixed income products, equity, debt, options, SWAPs, derivatives and trade flows for surveillance model impact analysis, development and enhancements.
Surveillance development using Actimize Intelligence Service (AIS), Risk Case Designer and Manager (RCM) tools.
End to end design and development of data warehouse applications using ETL tools including Informatica Power Center.
Unix/Linux environment for creating processes using shell scripting.
Architecture, design and development of database application on RDBMS platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Banking and financial industry experience with products including loans, mortgages, CDS, stocks, futures, and options.
Experience using SQL and PL/SQL, performance tuning and query optimization on Oracle (10g & 11g).
Quality tools including Quality Center, JIRA, Autosys, Subversion SVN, and Putty.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and
5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Surveillance development using Actimize Intelligence Service (AIS), Risk Case Designer and Manager (RCM) tools;
End to end design and development of data warehouse applications using ETL tools including Informatica Power Center;
Unix/Linux environment for creating processes using shell scripting;
Architecture, design and development of database application on RDBMS platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, etc;
