Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end billing and collections process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This position is vital for maintaining strong customer relationships while supporting the organization's cash flow management.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner to ensure smooth billing operations.

Monitor and track outstanding payments, ensuring follow-up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow.

Resolve discrepancies in billing and payments by collaborating with internal teams and customers.

Handle commercial collections activities, including direct communication with clients to secure payments.

Apply cash payments and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Maintain detailed and organized records of accounts receivable transactions for reporting purposes.

Build and nurture positive relationships with customers to ensure payment compliance and satisfaction.

Utilize NetSuite or similar accounting systems to manage accounts receivable processes efficiently.

Support process improvements to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of billing functions. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar accounting role.

Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software is highly advantageous.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle financial discrepancies.

Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
